Our second IC 80 in ’08 Birthday Celebration Member promotion winner is Hector Ciares of Lunenburg. The Relay for life is a fun filled event designed to bring together those who have been touched by cancer in our community. The relay celebrates survivorship and raises money to help The American Cancer Society in its mission to save lives.
Last year the IC Team had 62 participants that raised almost $6,000 and we are hoping to beat that number this year. The IC team will have volunteer walkers that include employees, members, family and friends. Each participant is responsible for collecting their own donations that will be turned in prior to the actual walk.Anyone interested in participating in this years event may contact Tammi DiSalvo at 978 353-2671.
The Easter Bunny visited the Ayer Branch on Saturday, March 15th and Bemis Road on Saturday, March 22nd. Both days were a huge success - about 150 photos taken in all! The Easter Bunny is shown here with two of our littlest IC Members. Thank you to all who stopped by; and special thanks to the Easter Bunny who is already preparing for next year!
IC held its first Employee Health Seminar for 2008! As part of an ongoing IC Cares promotion, we will be holding several Employee Health Seminars this year.
We have offered a vast range of health and fitness topics, including stress, nutrition, diet and exercise, along with men’s and women’s health issues.

IC employee’s participated in the 5th Annual Boys & Girls Club of North Central Massachusetts spelling bee held at the Fitchburg State College on Thursday January 10. The event featured local politicians, schools, local businesses, and many other groups put to the spelling test.
The event raised more than $36,000 for the Boys and Girls Club chapter according to the event co-chairs Nilsa Weaver and Deanna Zarrella.

Fitchburg, MA—IC Federal Credit Union one of the largest credit union’s in the state has announced it will offer a special loan for people who need help paying to heat their homes this winter. The 7.99% Home Heating Helper Loan enables members to borrow up to $2,000.00 to pay home heating bills over a 10 month term. With record frigid cold temperatures just a few weeks ago in the Boston area, the Home Heating Helper Loan is anticipated to be a welcomed offer to members.
IC Federal Credit Union congratulates Kelly Hillman who won our 3rd annual drawing for an 8 foot tall Christmas stocking held this past December. Mrs. Hillman entered her daughter’s name for the drawing while visiting our Parkhill Branch in Fitchburg, MA.

IC Federal Credit Union has announced the big winner of their Patriots Home Equity Promotion. Judy Kaddy, Sr. VP Marketing and Lending announced today that Francis Bergeron was the lucky winner of two Patriots tickets to the Eagles vs Patriots game this Sunday November 25th at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro Massachusetts.
The promotion began on September 14th and ended November 10th. All applicants had to close on a home equity loan by November 10th from IC Federal Credit Union to be eligible for the tickets, and at closing, received a Pats' t-shirt as part of the promotion.
The promotion was advertised in several places. Print ads were published in the Sentinel and Enterprise and Nashoba Valley Chronicle, along with the Landmark, Leominster Champion, and Fitchburg Pride. Ads were also run on the Sentinel and Enterprise website.
